The 2020 IntelliStore Module is a self-contained rack-mount module designed for live-rate video recording from a wide range of IP CCTV camera types.

Inputs to the module are all digital, IP streamed video over Ethernet. Where analogue legacy cameras are to be recorded, suitable IP encoders can be used to convert their outputs to digital form.

The IntelliStore NVR, like all the other elements of the 2020 system, are delivered as a turn-key, embedded 4U rackmount module. The modules are turn-key, fully self-contained units which are 100% self-managing.

Hard drives are included on board each module, offering up to 6TB per 20-channel module: expandable modules equipped with iSCSI connections to ancillary storage arrays are also available.

Each IntelliStore is capable of recording not only H264 & MPEG4 video (with or without embedded audio) but also streams of alarm metadata from other modules in the 2020 system, such as the IntelliSense video analytics modules, and the IntelliMedia sensor- and 3rd-party-interface modules.

On playback, the NVRs will deliver not only to-the-second video on a random-access basis, but will also "play back" an alarm data stream which delivers the event-status which prevailed at the time.

The medata recording can include external information also - such as GPS coordinates of patrols, staff or vehicles.

All the contemporaneous alarm/alert information coming into the system is recorded alongside video – ensuring that the whole event-history of the site is faithfully logged in real time

The operator can fully "revisit" historical events, seeing not only the video at the time but the alerts as they came in or were detected by analytics.

Historical record shows where individuals and vehicles were on a second-to-second basis.
